In our Introduction to the Construction Industry, we were required to present 3 A2 sized board regarding the construction industry. Our of the 5 topics our group picked 'Construction Phases'.

The whole process was split into 3 parts, that are: Pre-construction, construction, and post-construction.

In pre-construction, there is feasibility analysis, financing, design, and procurement a.k.a. tendering.

Construction is the physical stages of constructing the building. This stage consists of the substructure, superstructure, internal construction and domestic services.

Lastly we arrive at the post-construction, where the building is turned over and started up by the owner. After some period if usage, it is sometimes discarded or renovated according to the owner's needs.

Here is our final product of the presentation board. (Personally I am not very satisfied with the product, but as we have no experience in this area and this is our first time doing assignments like this, I'm taking it as a learning process).

We learned much on the phases of construction through extensive research.

We were also required to do a presentation.

Group discussions were held often so we can complete the assignment.
